The Bose Companion 3 speaker system is designed to be used for computer,
not for an HDTV.
Although this is the case,
you may still be able to hook it up.
On the back of your HDTV,
you should notice that you have two round RCA jacks for audio.
One should be red and one should be white.
Those are your left and right speaker hook ups.
At this point you would normally hook one speaker to the white and one speaker to the red.
In this case,
you can`t do that because the Bose companion system is integrated and controlled by your computer.
So you need to get an adapter that will fit into those two jacks on the back of the HDTV and converts it into one 3.5mm stereo plug.
This will then allow you to plug that 3.5mm jack into the control pod of your Bose companion system.
Like I said,
this system was meant to be used with a computer system,
so getting it to work with an HDTV is not easy...
you`re not speaker stupid.
